Life
I would love to hear from my old friends from Garner and Mac. There doesn't go time that I wished I would have graduated with Y'all.
I left Texas in 1984, planning on staying in California for only a year. I have called Redding, CA my home for the past 24 years.
Redding is in Northern California, in the valley butting up to Mount Shasta and Mount Lassen. We have three lakes surrounding us and a river running through town. This towns claim to fame is it is the home town of Merle Haggard.
I have three teenage sons. Daniel my oldest is 19, in college, and an Eagle Scout. My youngest, Devan is almost 18 years old, and in college. Brad has just been adopted by my husband and I. He is 18 years old, and plans on a career in music production.
I do have several foster children, and a wonderful grandbaby from the oldest foster daughter.
We own our home, which is filled with five dogs, six cats, and several tanks of fish. We enjoy camping and fishing during the summer. I do have to sa...Expand for more

School
Would have graduated from Mac if I wouldn't have gone to stay with my dad in California for one year. Once I got here, I was able to go to cosmetology school while I attended my junior and senior year.
I am still in contact a few friends from Garner and Mac, but I lost my address book in a move that had all the phone numbers and addresses of friends.
I still consider Mac my home school.
College
I finally graduated from college with a degree in Early Childhood Education with a minor in business.
Workplace
I was a salon manager for three years, until a car accident ended my carreer. While on disability, I ran a day care for 9 years, and was a stay at home mom. During that time, I attended a community college, and worked for a contractor as his office manager with the office at home. In 2000, I decided to hit the real work world, and for the past years I have worked for a contractor, and then for a credit card processing company. I was disabled for some time due to several hand surgeries, but now I am agent staff for State Farm Insurance.
